CEREC Technology
At Downtown Dental, we understand your time is precious. We offer single visit dentistry by using our state-of-the-art, in-office CEREC machine. This CAD/CAM technology allows patients the ability to enjoy restorations such as crowns, bridges, and veneers made in as little as an hour and half. Traditional dental offices require patients to return weeks later for their final restoration and be in an interim temporary restoration. With CEREC, the whole procedure is completed in one visit, making it super convenient and save time.
Laser periodontal treatment
We are proud to offer advanced periodontal treatment with the revolutionary Waterlase MD, from Biolase. It is a patented technology borne of extensive scientific research. Waterlase combines YSGG laser energy with a proprietary air and water blend. It can be used on soft or hard tissues, eliminating the scalpel and drill.
One of its many uses is in treating periodontal disease. It can be used to eliminate infection, and perform gum surgery without a scalpel. There is little to no bleeding, pain, or swelling involved. Waterlase treatment takes less time than traditional methods, and rarely requires anesthesia.
Digital 3D X-rays
Many dental procedures require x-rays. Traditionally, this is an uncomfortable and tedious process. The one-dimensional images provide a dentist with minimal data. We use the innovative cone beam 3d CT system. It is convenient and comfortable for patients of all ages or sizes. Imaging is faster than traditional x-rays, with less radiation exposure. The high quality, three-dimensional images allow for the most accurate diagnosis and treatment planning which is often missed with traditional x-rays.
Oral Photography
It is often said that a picture is worth a thousand words. When you are making crucial decisions about your dental care, a picture can be invaluable.
