  • Convenient
  • Affordable
  • Custom-fitted

  • Reliable
  • Quick solution

Millions of American adults are missing all their teeth, which makes it nearly impossible to feel completely confident about yourself or function in society and at work without feeling self-conscious. Your smile matters every day, no matter how you live, work, or play.

Dentures make it possible for you to eat the foods you love but have avoided, and contribute to clear and more article patterns of speech. You not only look better with a new smile but you sound better and feel better too.

For most denture-wearers who opt for the basic form of this restoration, adhesives will still be necessary, as well as daily cleanings, but these are minor inconveniences when compared to the amazing, complete smile that dentures deliver. Ultimately, you’re getting a whole smile that makes you look like the best version of yourself – and that is priceless.

Types of Modern Dentures

Dentures are available in different forms, which is great for patients who have varying budgets, comfort levels, and smile goals. The number of teeth you are missing and their location in your mouth are also critical factors when it comes to determining what type of dentures you should pursue. Here are the available options:

  • Full dentures: When someone talks about dentures, this is what most people think of – the appliances that replace an entire arch of missing teeth. When worn on top of the mouth they require adhesive to stay on the palate and must be removed daily for cleaning.
  • Partial dentures: When you are missing several teeth in the same area of your mouth, a partial denture may be all you need. The plastic base is tinted to match the color of your gums and attached to a metal framework so it can be easily snapped in and out of your mouth.
  • Implant dentures: The combo of dentures and dental implants is a powerful one, eliminating the need to cover your palate with a denture and instead surgically placing implants in the jawbone and attaching dentures permanently to their implants’ posts. This secure restoration does not interrupt how you taste things and is incredibly comfortable so it feels just like natural teeth.

Oral Cancer Screening Video

Oral Cancer Screening Video
Every patient at Downtown Dental undergoes a thorough check for oral cancer and other dental health issues. This video shows how it’s done.
Here at downtown Dental, we take oral health and cancer screenings very serious. This month is November and it’s the month of oral health cancer awareness and screenings. Every patient we examined thoroughly, we look and we check their lips, tongue and we check for any abnormalities or bumps. At home you should also check to make sure that everything looks okayLeava is going to demonstrate what in oral health cancer screening is and what we examine. So, we first start off by checking all the lips. We make sure that the lips look healthy and that we palpate them, which is touching them and making sure that there’s nothing anormal. Then we go into the mucosa and check the cheeks. We’re going to look and check the hard palate as well as the soft palate. This might tickle a little. We checked the posterior of the tongue. Do you, Viola, go ahead and say, aaaaaa. We check the lateral sides of the tongue. Go ahead and sit your tongue showed up great. And we also check the floor of the mouth. Get the tongue to the roof of your mouth. Good all clear. Oral cancer is especially important to check the patients who are smokers, alcohol drinkers and we thank you for watching the video.
