The design is similar to traditional braces. However, there is one important distinction. Six Month Smiles is designed for adults, and appearance is important. This system uses transparent and tooth colored components. They are barely noticeable.
Treatment
Dr. Don Mungcal will perform an examination to determine if you are a good candidate. Six Month Smiles is not recommended for patients under the age of 15. If you are an adult who is seeking beautifully straight teeth in just a few months, you are likely a perfect candidate! The doctor will take records, such as x-rays and impressions. At the next appointment, the brackets are bonded to your teeth.
During treatment, you will need to take a little extra care with oral hygiene. You will be provided with complete instructions. We will offer tips and advice, to make your short time in braces comfortable and convenient. We are more than happy to answer your questions at any time.
