Dr. Don Mungcal is a Los Angeles local! He grew up in the San Fernando Valley and obtained his undergraduate education at UCLA. In 1990, he graduated with honors from the prestigious University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. After graduation, he gained and shared experience working as a part-time clinical instructor at USC Dental School, then opened his own practice in the heart of his hometown – downtown Los Angeles. His practice has remained there since 1992. Dr. Mungcal loves LA, and apparently LA shares that feeling. He has been voted Best Dentist in Downtown, for four consecutive years by readers of "Los Angeles Downtown News."

To maintain cutting-edge knowledge and skills, Dr. Mungcal is active in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the California Dental Society, as well as a number of other respected organizations. He stays up to date with the latest cosmetic dentistry, dental implant, and general dentistry advancements by obtaining numerous continuing educational hours annually. Dr. Mungcal shares this sentiment from a well-known dental educator, "The goal of my practice is simply to help my patients retain their teeth all of their lives if possible.
